Teaching Family Homes, a a child and family organization that cares for troubled children and families in the Upper Peninsula, selected Kia Jane Richmond as Community Parner of the Year for her work partnering students in her Arts and Humanities: English Language and Literature 110 class (Fall 2007) with Teaching Family Homes youth through a Brighter Futures Grant.
