The Fulbright Visiting Specialists Program has awarded NMU a visiting scholar grant. Dr. Hatice Simten Cosar will serve as Scholar in Residence from Jan. 28, 2007 thourgh Feb. 24, 2007. She will provide lectures and workshops on issues related to Islam, women's issues, and human rights. Dr. Cosar is an Assistant Professor of International Relations and Political Science at the University of Bishkent, Ankara, Turkey.
