Michael Cauley has been with NMU for 40 years and currently teaches CAD. He has also worked as a drafter for Ford Motor Company and as a designer for GM Fisher Body. Professor Cauley believes that students at the School of Technology and Applied Sciences benefit from studying with the current CAD software. He also finds it helpful to students that the same teacher instructs lecture as well as lab. NMU’s faculty members are knowledgeable both in and out of the classroom and create a hands-on environment where teamwork is fostered.
