Abstract
The article offers the author's insights regarding the loosemeat sandwich. The author states that the loosemeat sandwich was created by Abe Kaled at the Ye Olde Tavern in Sioux City, Iowa in 1934. He says that the loosemeat sandwich is being argued on whether it is more or less evolved than the hamburger. He relates that the loosemeat sandwich starts its life closer to being chewed and swallowed as compared to the hamburger.
