Abstract

City Farmer provides information on urban agriculture efforts across the globe, as well as classes for local residents in organic farming, how to recycle food waste using a worm bin, and how to safely deal with garden insect problems. Two specialty grocery stores did not sell any organic items, while just 26 organic items were sold at the remaining eight stores versus 138 items at the supermarkets.
