Jack Gumaer is rejoining the Engineering Technology Department as an assistant professor in electronics. He has B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Michigan. His research interests include embedded systems, renewable energy, and integrating laptops into a technology curriculum. He is returning from Central Washington University where he was teaching in an electronics technology program. Before joining academia, Jack worked for over ten years in hardware and software engineering and development.
