Abstract
An innovative TLC project changed NMU's annual UNITED (Uniting Neighbors in the Experience of Diversity) Conference from an event to three courses. One course was NMU's first fully online 989 course and the first time the UNITED Conference was accessible online to Michigan teachers seeking re-certification credits. A second fully online course used the UNITED Conference to reach across disciplines to persons seeking information in how to conduct diversity training workshops. A third course used a content management system (Blackboard-WebCT) to support the development of curricular materials for UNITED Conference in-person attendees who are seeking graduate credit.
