Abstract
Only 12 midwives nationwide are invited into the rank of fellowship within the American College of Nurse Midwives. Fellowship is one of the highest honors the college bestows on a midwife and is given to those midwives who have throughout their midwifery care demonstrated exemplary practice, reasearch and expertise in the health care of women.
