My doctoral major was in clinical psychology, with minors in developmental and educational psychology. My current research interests include the effects of maternal postpartum stress on the development of high risk infants, professional issues and practices in child custody evaluations, psychological responses to stressful events, and parenting issues. My teaching interests are broad and include topics in child development, early childhood education, interpersonal relationships, and clinical psychology. I have been married for over 20 years and have three sons. In my spare time, I enjoy a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities.
