Our lab is interested in the genesis, growth and treatment of human brain tumors. We are currently interested in genes that may play critical roles in tumor formation and growth and the silencing of those genes using siRNA technologies. We are also interested in the population of brain tumor cells that are stem cell-like and are interested in methodologies to target those cell populations. Finally, we have interest in increasing our understanding of the role of MGMT in chemotherapy resistance. To learn more visit www.hopestartshere.org.
