Research Interests Assessing performance and employability factors among BSW students
Teaching Philosophy/Profile Ann is a relatively new full-time faculty member at NMU. She has eighteen years of social work experience, working primarily with adolescent youth but also in mental health and criminal justice settings. She has facilitated training workshops locally and nationally on various topics, primarily related to working with adolescents and sexual aggression. Ann is a licensed social worker in the state of Michigan, holding both clinical and macro designations. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
Ann is originally from the Eastern Upper Peninsula and has lived in the Harvey area for the past fourteen years. She is married and is a proud, adoptive and biological parent of five children, ages 2 to 27 years.
