Justification for Restricting Access
I am incredibly proud of the research and work I've done drafting this manuscript. Having had the opportunity to work with such incredible faculty as my committee members has been an honor. In its current state, there is no telling how much additional time I may need for the publishing process, nor whether a press would consider open access to the manuscript on the Commons prior publication. Therefore, I request the maximum allowed embargo, currently five years, and as long as may be necessary after that initial period, until such time as I am able to get the book published.
